For this introduction to the southern coastal areas of Cambodia, we head for Koh Kong after arrival in Phnom Penh. We spend two nights aboard our luxury floating lodge where kayaks are available for the more adventurous, before continuing onto the country is prime beach location of Sihanoukville for some relaxation downtime and sun worship. The diversity offered by the wild northeast region of Cambodia is the attraction after a couple of days exploring the Kingdom is vibrant and exciting capital, Phnom Penh, with its highlights including the elegant National Museum and the more sobering Tuol Sleng Prison. We encounter nature in one of its rarest forms with the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins of Kratie before we head into the rolling hills of Mondulkiri. Minorities make up most of the population here, picturesque waterfalls pepper the area including the beautiful Bou Sraa waterfall, and we pay a visit to both.
